These 5 women entrepreneurs have partnered to sell handmade gift items which are a huge hit among their customers. The interesting thing is the fact that they are from the same apartment. I, Gayathri Sreeganesh is a B.tech Graduate and an Ex-TCSer. My native is Trivallur. My Husband Mr.Sreeganesh is a Standard Chartered employee, who provides great motivation and support. My parents are Mr.N.C Ravichandran and T.K.Mythili who are lawyers. I have two boys Pranav and Vaibhav aged 10 and 3.
Pritha Thangaraju is a M.sc, computer science graduate with the native of Nammakal. Her husband is Mr.N.Jayaseelan working with Tech Mahindra. She has two girls P.J.Mrithika and P.J.Kanishka. Her Parents are Dr.P Thangaraju and Mrs.Pushpa.
R.Uma Maheswari is a M.com graduate from Rajapalayam.Her husband is Mr.Gurusamy pandian working with Idea mobile network. She has a son Rohith.G. Her parents are Mr. Ramasamy and Yasodhai.
G.Subbulakshmi is a MCA graduate worked as a software engineer at Cherrysoft ltd. She also has experience as working as a computer teacher at Maharishi Vidya mandir. Parents are Mr.D Govindarajan and G.Devaki. Her husband is Mr.D.Venkatesan working with Engineers India. She has a 10-year-old daughter V.Sathvi.
Sujatha Bharathi is a M.phil graduate from New Delhi. Her parents are Mr.Venugopalan and Padma. Her husband is Mr.Balamurugan is working with CTS. She has experience as a medical transcriptioner.She has two kids Sadhana and Aadvik.
We worked under a common ID Chandini C. We brainstormed and expanded our product list which includes Floating lamps, Floating diyas, Kundan rangolis, Kum kum boxes, Acrylic home décor and wall hangings. Initially, we did not get a good response and after March 2016 orders got pouring in as I started marketing seriously through Facebook.This is our page link,

Work from home helps us to work at leisure and take care of our family with ease. Long working hours and hectic travels are avoided.
The first turning point of our business is the stall we had put in our apartment. We received huge appreciation and motivation.Next is the huge order that was given by Mrs, Lakshmi mam from Singapore, which is when we understood the intricacies of producing in bulk and procuring the materials needed. We successfully worked day and night and completed the order which was liked by the customer very much.
Initial difficulties were the procurement of materials as we stay in the outskirts of the city. We successfully overcame it by planning and ordering materials through the phone.

We dedicate specific time in a day for work and family. During weekends we take off. When orders demand we work during night and holidays.

Our Business started after Navarathri 2015, where I gifted my friends with handmade floating lamps. They all liked the product very much and I suggested marketing it, then we five of us joined together and started a Facebook page Chandini Creations.We worked under a common ID Chandini C. How much one can earn in ur business?
We work 2 hours every day and make around Rs3000 per month per person. During festival seasons like Navarathri and Diwali, we get many orders and make much more.Tell us about your turning points and milestones in ur business:
