Meet Renee Jebaline who is the owner of R3 Iniya's World. She shares her journey with us how she has turned to a mompreneur after doing Post Graduate in CSE. She is from Kanyakumari district and a mom of a little girl. She has earned around Rs.50,000 just by doing crochet business in her free time alone. Hope you love to read her journey.
I am G. Renee Jebaline from Thuckalay a small town in the district of Kanyakumari. I am a post graduate in Computer Science and Engineering. My dad is working as a Deputy Manager in CDPC in City Union Bank, while mom is busy in building our home with care and affection. Since I got married during my PG to a PhD student I couldn’t find a job. Moreover, my kid Iniya was born on 15.10.15. So, I was not able to go outside for a job.
The first order I did was twenty purses using loop stitch for our family friend for gift favour. Then I stopped doing this for my schoolings. In college days I did this art for my bags. When my marriage was fixed, I came to know that his friends from Germany are coming for our great day, since my hubby was pursuing PhD there. As a surprise I did a small potli bag for them which hold quilling earrings and a crystal bracelet. They were very much surprised and they carried them on our big day in our traditional silk saree. This is how my passion has been growing up.
I started to do this as a business from Sept 2015 after landing in Germany to fight loneliness. Since my pregnancy was very hard due to Hyperemesis Gravidarum, I couldn’t do it as I expected but on the whole I earned nearly 50000 rupees.
1. Every art is unique and has a meaning of its own.
2. You can do anything from a single art.
3. When you fly high people will scream on you, don’t listen, if you listen they will drag you down. 4. Be unique in your own art and don’t imitate anyone. This will help us for longer stand.
5. Aim on family time and everything will be on your way.

Why did u choose work from home career?
As my husband is doing Ph.D, I opted full time mom for our beautiful daughter Iniya. To fight the loneliness, I started to do this and all sort of DIYs which I can do with our daughter at home. I opted this to spend more time with my daughter since my husband spends more time in lab(sometimes even for 24 hrs).Showcase some of your best work:
